Ladies be a Boss without being Bossy! Being a bos

Ladies be a Boss without being Bossy! Being a boss woman is about much more than having a title, making money, running a business, or being in charge.
It’s about owning your power, knowing your worth, making intentional decisions, and taking responsibility for the life you’re creating.
And here’s something important: A woman can be a boss and still be soft, feminine, loving, vulnerable, and nurturing.

In my book Never Wear Red Lipstick - 8 Lies That Stop Black Women from Succeeding in Life and Business - I end each chapter with my Boss Breakthrough Exercises! They will help you process what you read and help you shift your thinking . After all being a Boss is a mindset ! ❤️

IT’S NATIONAL WOMEN’S SMALL BUSINESS MONTH!! 🎉💼

S/O to my girl, @candiceldavis !! Ladies, great leadership starts with knowing yourself. ❤ The more I discovered who I really am, the easier it became to lead my team, build my vision, and walk into every room with confidence, no apologies. 💋

Self-discovery isn’t always comfortable, but for every woman leading a business of her own, it’s always worth it. Where are you in your leadership journey right now? Let’s talk in the comments! 😘👇🏾

NEW YORK, WE’RE COMING! 🗽❤️💄 Link in bio!

I am beyond excited to bring the Never Wear Red Lipstick Book Tour to New York City! There is something incredibly special about taking this book, this message, and the Paint Your Lips Red movement to new cities and new women who are ready to step into their power.

On November 5th, join me for an evening of books, conversation, connection, bites, cocktails, red lips, and celebration as we gather in the heart of New York City. ❤️

But more than anything, this is a conversation about leadership.

Leadership is not simply about the title you hold. It’s about having the courage to use your voice, owning your story, embracing your authenticity, and creating space for others to rise with you. Never Wear Red Lipstick is a reminder that you were never meant to shrink to succeed. It’s about leading boldly, living authentically, and building a legacy with purpose.

New York, I cannot WAIT to see you! 🗽❤️

Grab your ticket, grab your red lipstick, and come Paint Your Lips Red with me! 💋
